if rather run-down &#8211; community boozer.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s been a Green Man pub on this site since the 1880&#8217;s but falling sales and dodgy drug dealing finally did for the pub in 2003.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/brixton\/bars\/images\/green-man-brixton-1.jpg\" alt=\"Green Man pub, Loughborough Junction\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It remained boarded up and unloved for several years, but a surprisingly sensitive refurb in 20o7 saw the original tiled fa\u00e7ade being exposed.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/brixton\/bars\/images\/green-man-brixton-2.jpg\" alt=\"Green Man pub, Loughborough Junction\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Although it&#8217;s highly likely Loughborough Junction will ever get this pub back &#8211;
