After a rather disastrous coffee at the\u00a0Speakeasy Espresso and Brew Bar<\/a>, our quest for a good, strong brew in a pleasant atmosphere had reached critical levels, so we were pleased to come across\u00a0Tap at 193 Wardour Street, W1.<\/p>\n

The third branch of the slowly growing coffee house empire formerly known as Tapped & Packed (the other two are on\u00a0Rathbone Place<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Tottenham Court Road<\/a>), the mini chain now goes under the name of Tap Coffee.<\/p>\n

We’ve drunk their coffee before so knew that we’d be in safe hands, and two very decent cups were served up, complete with the now requisite fancy pattern on the froth.<\/p>\n

The same quirky teaspoons were in attendance too. It’s a nice homely touch.<\/p>\n

The Wardour Street branch is quite large, and takes the form of a long narrow building with a fair bit of seating at the back.<\/p>\n

There was a good selection of snacks’n’cakes’n’bakes on offer. We scoffed a large biscuit between us that was rather tasty indeed.<\/p>\n
