Located by Tottenham Court Road tube station, the 12 Bar in Denmark Street is one of the very last rock’n’roll venues left anywhere near Soho, and it’s one that’s well worth supporting.<\/p>\n

On Saturday night, I popped in to check out the biannual Anti Folk festival, and had a great time. Unfortunately,\u00a0I didn’t get to see all the bands (on account of having alcohol-based appointments elsewhere), but here’s some photos from the night.<\/p>\n

Billed as “a great new Antifolk super-group,” Pit Ponies made a splendid noise, and are made up of members of Corporal Machine & The Bombers and Nathaniel Kidd (formerly Thee Intolerable Kidd).<\/p>\n
