I have to admit that I’m not exactly what you’d call a foodie – I like greasy spoons and old cafes best of all – but over on our sister site Brixton Buzz, there’s a very comprehensive guide to well over a hundred cafes and restaurants in Brixton, south London.<\/p>\n

I’ve got some pretty mixed feelings about the changes going on in Brixton, but I can put up with most of them so long as there’s still some place where I can enjoy a no-nonsense cooked breakfast.<\/p>\n

Happily, such a place is the Phoenix on Coldharbour Lane<\/a> (pictured above) and that’s where you’ll most likely find me if I’m eating out.<\/p>\n
