There’s been a record shop occupying this corner of\u00a0Cardiff Central Market for as long as I can remember, and it’s great to see the place still thriving.<\/p>\n

Located on the balcony level of Cardiff famous\u00a0Central Market, the store occupies a fairly large space and there’s loads of room to \u00a0browse.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"A<\/p>\n

Mainly catering in lovely old vintage vinyl, the store contains over\u00a0100,000 collectable records and is a magnet for serious collectors and 33\/45rpm junkies.<\/p>\n

\"A<\/p>\n

The store is\u00a0now owned by\u00a0Allan Parkins, who\u00a0took over the running of Kellys from his aunt and uncle, Phyllis and Eddie Kelly in the early 1990s.<\/p>\n

The shop attracts orders and visitors from all over the world, as Parkins told Wales Online<\/a>:<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve got a guy who comes over from Holland six times a year to visit us, and a guy who rings me from California in the middle of the night when he can\u2019t sleep just to have a chat and order up some records.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s a dealer who comes over three times a year from Taiwan, and piles up records this high.<\/p>\n

Then he has them shipped off back home. That\u2019s always a good day when he lets us know he\u2019s coming!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As well as vinyl, there’s also CDs, DVDs and even the odd VHS.<\/p>\n

The shop also has a selection of autographed albums.<\/p>\n
