Seen draped across the premises of a new upmarket commercial development in Greenwich Village was several metres of bright yellow hazard tape bearing the message, “Gentrification In Progress.”<\/p>\n

The scene was captured at 7am this morning in\u00a0Bleeker Street by our resident NY reporter, Fletch.<\/p>\n

He added\u00a0that the\u00a0the tape was stretched over three empty stores in a row. One of them was one of the last places in The Village that you could by vinyl records.<\/span><\/p>\n
