It’s another lovely sunny day in Brixton, so here’s a few snaps from my walk around town.<\/p>\n

Boarded up window of Brady’s<\/a> – the much loved and much missed Brixton boozer.<\/p>\n

20% off in Morley’s – Brixton’s last surviving department store<\/a>, which dates back over a hundred years.<\/p>\n

The site of Brixton’s most famous squat, Cooltan<\/a>, criminally remains an empty wasteland, although some recent works has resulted in a curious ‘mini-road’ being constructed.<\/p>\n

As far as I could see, a large pipeline was installed, but I’m not really sure why it’s been Tarmac’d over in a strip. Anyone know?<\/p>\n

Behind the vacant plot of land, essential repairs have been taking place to the railway viaduct which – according to one worker I was taking to – were rather urgently needed as the structure was showing signs of serious damage.<\/p>\n
