space created between 1876 and 1888.<\/p>\n<p>Home to the striking\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/photos-of-treptower-park-the-soviet-war-memorial-in-berlin-germany\/\" rel=\"bookmark\">Soviet War Memorial<\/a>, the park hosted the 1896 Berlin Trade Exhibition and now features a famous rose garden with 25,000 plants.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img bridge over to Insel der Jugend (Island of Youth) was the\u00a0first composite steel bridge built in Germany.<\/p>\n<p>The small (1.8 hectares) island hosts art and cultural events.<\/p>\n<p><img sparrows here are very confident and will leap on your plate the second you look away!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\"
