\/><\/p>\n<p>Currently turning heads in Covent Garden is this remarkable structure by the artist and designer Alex Chinneck.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" \/><\/p>\n<p>His work entitled, &#8216;Take My Lightning But Don\u2019t Steal My Thunder\u2019 is on display at London\u2019s Covent Garden until October 24th, and cunningly creates the illusion of a broken building floating\u00a0in mid air.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/covent-garden-floating-chinneck-03.jpg\" alt=\"Covent Garden floating building illusion created by Alex Chinneck, London, October 2014\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Visitors can touch the bottom half of the building which appears to be solidly made of concrete.<\/p>\n<p><img the\u00a0illusion is created by the top half of the building\u00a0being made from polystyrene, with the structure held in place by a\u00a0six-ton steel counter-weight inside a fake market
