After years and years of failed planning bids and extravagant redevelopment proposals<\/a>, the predictable pile of luxury apartments and hotels will be springing up around the iconic\u00a0Battersea Power station.<\/p>\n

The work involves the rebuilding of the four landmark towers.<\/p>\n

Gaining planning permission after considerable controversy, the\u00a0development\u00a0is certainly one that can be filed under \u201cnot for the likes of us<\/em>,\u201d with the\u00a0exclusive\u00a0apartments at the top going for sky high prices. if you\u2019re rich enough, you can even have an entire floor to\u00a0yourself.<\/p>\n

The tower\u2019s hoity-toity website boasts of offering an \u201cextraordinary level of service is available to all residents,\u201d with a\u00a0dedicated concierge on hand to \u201cmanage your day-to-day requirements, from arranging a dinner party to acquiring tickets to the theatre or a sporting event.\u201d<\/p>\n
