My first stop upon arrival in Bognor was the nearest Poundland for an umbrella which promptly turned itself inside out in the gusting wind.<\/p>\n<p>Determined to take in some sea air, whatever the weather, I buttoned my coat up against the freezing gales and headed for the seafront.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/a-grim-day-in-bognor-regis-05.jpg\" alt=\"A grim afternoon in rain-lashed Bognor Regis, West Sussex, England\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It was wet. It was cold. collapsing into the sea, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/photos\/sussex\/bognor-regis-pier-england.html\" target=\"_blank\">taking the pavilion building with it.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img
