and tonight is your last chance to see them in action.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/traf-square-christmas-carols-02.jpg\" alt=\"Choirs sing traditional Christmas carols in Trafalgar Square, London, December 2015\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Since 1947, Trafalgar Square has received a large Norwegian Christmas Tree as an annual gift from the people of Oslo, thanking Britain for its support and friendship during World War Two.<\/p>\n<p>The tree is\u00a0 illuminated from noon until midnight until the Twelfth Night of Christmas in early January.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/traf-square-christmas-carols-03.jpg\" alt=\"Choirs sing traditional Christmas carols in Trafalgar Square, London, December 2015\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Every evening from the\u00a09th-22nd December a different choir has gathered by the tree to sing carols and raise money for a range of voluntary or charitable organisations.<\/p>\n<p>Onlookers are welcome to join in and drop a few pennies in the tin.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/traf-square-christmas-carols-04.jpg\" alt=\"Choirs sing traditional Christmas carols in Trafalgar Square, London, December 2015\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In total, over fifty carol groups are expected to participate this year, with tonight&#8217;s final\u00a0performances taking\u00a0place from from 4pm &#8211;
