{"id":16929,"date":"2016-01-04T11:33:26","date_gmt":"2016-01-04T11:33:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/?p=16929"},"modified":"2021-01-20T12:34:19","modified_gmt":"2021-01-20T12:34:19","slug":"tonbridge-in-the-rain-umbrellas-street-views-and-an-abandoned-shopping-trolley-jan-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/tonbridge-in-the-rain-umbrellas-street-views-and-an-abandoned-shopping-trolley-jan-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"Tonbridge in the rain: umbrellas, street views and an abandoned shopping trolley, Jan 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/tonbridge-kent-rain-01.jpg\" alt=\"Tonbridge in the rain: umbrellas, street views and an abandoned shopping trolley, Jan 2016, Kent\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Over the weekend, I made the hour long trip from Brixton to Tonbridge in Kent to watch the mighty Dulwich Hamlet play a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brixtonbuzz.com\/2016\/01\/hard-fought-promotion-clash-sees-hamlet-take-a-vital-point-at-a-disagreeably-damp-tonbridge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">crucial top of the table clash<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Much like my Christmas trip to Wales, it rained almost the entire time, which limited the photographic possibilities somewhat.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/tonbridge-kent-rain-02.jpg\" alt=\"Tonbridge in the rain: umbrellas, street views and an abandoned shopping trolley, Jan 2016, Kent\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>With my brolly perched at a jaunty angle to protect the camera, I still managed to grab a few shots as I sped through the town, en route to Tonbridge Angels football ground, a 30 mins walk away. [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Old-Fire-Station-531356273682618\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8212;<\/a>]<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/tonbridge-kent-rain-19.jpg\" alt=\"Tonbridge in the rain: umbrellas, street views and an abandoned shopping trolley, Jan 2016, Kent\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/spellbound-collectables.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Spellbound<\/a> in Bank Street\u00a0promises\u00a0a &#8220;unique shopping experience. From fairies to gargoyles, dragons to mermaids and a whole bunch in-between.
