annual Pride parade matched through the centre of the city.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/gay-pride-london-2017-02.jpg\" alt=\"London Gay Pride 2017: faces, street scenes and smoke bombs, Saturday 8th July 2017\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>An estimated 26,000 people joined the parade for the biggest march in the event&#8217;s 45-year history.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/gay-pride-london-2017-03.jpg\" alt=\"London Gay Pride 2017: faces, street scenes and smoke bombs, Saturday 8th July 2017\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Watched by massive crowds, the parade went along a 1.4 mile route from Portland Place to Whitehall, via Oxford Circus and Regent
