Housing the “largest and most diverse botanical and mycological collections in the world,”\u00a0Kew Gardens is a botanical garden founded in 1840, and can claim to be of London’s top tourist attractions and a World Heritage Site.<\/p>\n

Scattered throughout the park were luminous glass artworks by Dale Chihuly.<\/p>\n

You can now climb the fully restored Pagoda – sadly we ran out of time.<\/p>\n

The listed Palm House was built between 1844 and 1848 using glass house design principles developed by John Claudius Loudon and Joseph Paxton.<\/p>\n

The 19 metres (62 ft) high central nave is surrounded by a walkway at 9 metres (30 ft) height, allowing visitors a closer look upon the palm tree crowns. [—<\/a>]<\/p>\n
