Like most of the routes in Sardinia, the line is mainly single track.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/macomer-sardinia-photos-03.jpg\" alt=\"Macomer, Sardinia: steam loco, narrow gauge railway and abandoned warehouses - in photos\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A short walk from the mainline station is the large narrow gauge station, which is the junction of narrow-gauge lines branching from the main railway line running east to <a title=\"Province of Nuoro\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Province_of_Nuoro\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nuoro<\/a>\u00a0and west to <a title=\"Bosa\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bosa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bosa<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/macomer-sardinia-photos-05.jpg\" alt=\"Macomer, Sardinia: steam loco, narrow gauge railway and abandoned warehouses - in photos\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Most of the trains are covered in graffiti, and there was a wide range of rolling stock of all ages parked up around the station.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/macomer-sardinia-photos-06.jpg\" alt=\"Macomer, Sardinia: steam loco, narrow gauge railway and abandoned warehouses - in photos\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Located next to one of the carriage sheds was this old steam locomotive, FCS5, manufactured by Italian builders Societ\u00e0 Italiana Ernesto Breda.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/macomer-sardinia-photos-18.jpg\" alt=\"Macomer, Sardinia: steam loco, narrow gauge railway and abandoned warehouses -
