Glastonbury Festival in photos, June 2005\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I think it&#8217;s fair to say that the Glastonbury festival of fifteen years ago wasn&#8217;t one of the best.<\/p>\n<p>After a promising sunny start, the site swiftly degraded into a depressing brown landscape of sticky mud, quagmires, small lakes and boggy marshes.<em> By heck<\/em> it were grim &#8211;\u00a0 and here&#8217;s the photo evidence:<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/glastonbury-mud-2005-02.jpg\" alt=\"Mud, mud, glorious mud!
