Currently dividing opinion on our bulletin boards<\/a> is this new addition to the central Brixton skyline.<\/p>\n

‘The Brixton Heron’ is a weathervane sculpture created by artist Maggi Hambling and sits on the roof of the Prince of Wales public house<\/a> (aka ‘Dex’), on the corner of Coldharbour Lane and Brixton Road.<\/p>\n

It looks a bit of a bedraggled heron to me, and I’m not sure what the connection is with Brixton,\u00a0 but I’m all for a bit of art around the place.<\/p>\n
