These works explore the transcendence offered by the natural world, and through color, form, and mass, evoke an altogether contemporary version of the sublime.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/frieze-sculpture-2022-03.jpg\" alt=\"In photos: Frieze 2022 outdoor sculpture exhibition in Regent's Park, London\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Robert Indiana,\u00a0<em>Imperial LOVE<\/em>, 1966\u20131971\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Self-proclaimed \u2018painter of signs\u2019, Robert Indiana converts text into sculptures, referring to them as \u2018one-word poems\u2019. His most iconic, \u2018Love\u2019, is a theme he returned to time and again.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/frieze-sculpture-2022-04.jpg\" alt=\"In photos: Frieze 2022 outdoor sculpture exhibition in Regent's Park, London\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>John Giorno,\u00a0<em>SPACE MIRRORS MIND<\/em>, 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The John Giorno Foundation and Almine Rech present a previously unseen sculpture by John Giorno from the late series entitled Stone Poems: a found glacial granite into which a poetic phrase is engraved.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/frieze-sculpture-2022-05.jpg\" alt=\"In photos: Frieze 2022 outdoor sculpture exhibition in Regent's Park, London\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ron Arad, R.A. (born 1951),\u00a0<em>Dubito Ergo Cogito<\/em>, 2022\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rodin\u2019s The Thinker has left, leaving us the bronze volume he was just sitting on, with an imprint of his bum and feet.
