The first is of the Guyanese roti caravan on Brixton Station Road, which has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.urban75.net\/vbulletin\/threads\/330438-the-Guyanese-roti-caravan-on-Brixton-Station-Road\" target=\"_blank\">proved a hit on the urban75 bulletin boards<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Matt m: Just finished a pumpkin and spinach roti with chili sauce for \u00a32.50. Mmmmmmmmm. Can&#8217;t believe I&#8217;ve never got lunchtime takeaway from there before. It&#8217;s my new best friend.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>Tarannau: Are you people blind or something? How can you walk past something that has: a) The Guyanese flag on and B) Sells roti.<br \/>\nThe woman in the wagon makes fine pholourie and proper article black pudding too, generally on Saturdays only. And she knows the way of the wiri wiri pepper.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/brixton-photos-sept-2010-09.jpg\" alt=\"Brixton: Guyana Roti, tree trousers and a little envelope\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I loved this little &#8216;Enquiries&#8217; envelope placed on the window of the soon-to-be-opened new Federation coffee premises, in Brixton Village.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/brixton-photos-sept-2010-10.jpg\" alt=\"Brixton: Guyana Roti, tree trousers and a little envelope\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Finally, these white trousers pinned on a plastic tree in Brixton Village caught my eye.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, and in case you&#8217;re wondering, all the photos were taken on a HTC Desire phone, and processed using the fabulous Vignette app.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Three photos for you from my wander around Brixton today.
