I’ve had some parsimonious pastries, stingy sticky buns, frugal fruitcakes and economical Eccles cakes, but I don’t think anything has ever come close to this\u00a0miserly, paltry slither of carrot cake served up at the Tate Modern a few years ago.<\/p>\n

Offering barely more than two mouthfuls for \u00a32.40, I decided to snap a picture of the nano-slice and send it off to the Tate Modern for comment.<\/p>\n

Years later I’m still waiting for a response, so this warning is the best I can manage in terms of half baked revenge.<\/p>\n

Biff! Take that Tate Modern! I won’t be\u00a0visiting\u00a0your cafe again!<\/p>\n
