65 photos of the seaside, shops and local architecture\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Greeting you as you leave the station is the startling Brutalist 18-storey residential apartment block, Arlington House, which was completed in 1963.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s still the tallest building in Margate and remains unpopular with some residents.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/margate-photos-2024-03.jpg\" alt=\"In photos: Margate in the winter time -
