sandy scenes, fun fair architecture and empty beaches\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been visiting Coney Island in Brooklyn since 1986, and I&#8217;ve watched the seaside resort slowly get back on its feet after years of under investment.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s how it looked this winter:<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/coney-island-2023-02.jpg\" alt=\"Return to Coney Island -
