way to spend an afternoon, getting off at Warren Street tube and then heading through Regent&#8217;s Park, before following the canal into King&#8217;s Cross.<\/p>\n<p>The walk is around 3-4 miles (5-6.5km) long, depending on how much you&#8217;re inclined to wander around the park.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" the station, and walking through Regent&#8217;s Place Plaza.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/pics\/parks-canal-feb25-03.jpg\" alt=\"Park, canal, architecture and and Sunday football: a photo walk from Warren Street to King's Cross\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The stunning and elegant stuccoed terraced houses designed by the architect John Nash can be seen in <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Park_Crescent,_London\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Park Crescent<\/a> opposite the entrance to the park.<\/p>\n<p>Built in the 1820s, the semi-circular development is now Grade I listed.<\/p>\n<p>The private gardens outside are linked to Park Square via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.friendsofregentspark.org\/news\/park-post\/the-nursemaids-tunnel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Nursemaids\u2019 Tunne<\/a>l, which runs under Euston Road.<\/p>\n<p>Rarely open to the public, it&#8217;s one of the earliest surviving pedestrian subways in Cross\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Come November and The Boardwalk in Regent&#8217;s Park is filled with influencers and selfie stick obsessives, all keen to capture their faces in front of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/the-glorious-sight-of-autumn-in-regents-park-london-in-20-photos\/\">magnificent autumnal shades<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" Cross\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.regentsparkmusicfestival.org.uk\/history\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Holme Green Bandstand<\/a> hosts regular live music in the summer months.<\/p>\n<p>Moved to Regent&#8217;s Park from Richmond Park in the 1970s, the bandstand is associated with tragedy after it was the target of a IRA terrorist attack on 20 July 1982, killing seven and Sunday football: a photo walk from Warren Street to King's Cross\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Seen rising up above the park is the 189m tall BT Tower (formerly known as the GPO Tower, Post Office Tower and Telecom Tower).<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been lucky enough to have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/in-photos-a-trip-to-the-top-of-londons-bt-tower-in-march-2004\/\">visited the top \/><\/p>\n<p>The Triton fountain depicts a sea god or triton blowing on a conch shell with two mermaids at his feet.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" out of the park through Camden Town, the Regent&#8217;s Canal then turns south east into King&#8217;s Cross.<\/p>\n<p>It can get very busy around Camden, but there&#8217;s plenty of places for food football: a photo walk from Warren Street to King's Cross\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Regent&#8217;s Canal provides a link from the Paddington Arm of the Grand Union Canal to the Limehouse Basin and the River
