Ouch.\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Man oh man this turned out to be a hell of a night. The first stop was a well-packed Prince Albert on Coldharbour Lane before walking up towards Stockwell for some full on\u00a0ceilidh\u00a0dancing\u00a0action at the Grosvenor on\u00a0Sidney\u00a0Road.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/brixton-st-patricks-day-2.jpg\" alt=\"St Patrick's night in Brixton. Ouch.\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Fuelled by lashings of ale and a curious alcoholic concoction purporting to be a &#8216;St Patrick&#8217;s Day Shot,&#8217; we soon found ourselves giving it moderately large on the dance floor, strutting, nay <em>stumbling<\/em>, along to the\u00a0wondrous\u00a0jigs from the fine band.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/brixton-st-patricks-day-9.jpg\" alt=\"St Patrick's night in Brixton. Ouch.\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not exactly a\u00a0ceilidh\u00a0connoisseur*, but I am rather partial to thundering along the dance floor in the spinning feast that is the &#8220;Strip the willow&#8221; dance. Much fun!<\/p>\n<p>(*a bit of an understatement, that).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/brixton-st-patricks-day-3.jpg\" alt=\"St Patrick's night in Brixton. Ouch.\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/brixton-st-patricks-day-5.jpg\" alt=\"St Patrick's night in Brixton. Ouch.\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Next stop was the Dogstar which was a whole heap of fun. And very, very alcoholic!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/brixton-st-patricks-day-6.jpg\" alt=\"St Patrick's night in Brixton. Ouch.\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/brixton-st-patricks-day-7.jpg\" alt=\"St Patrick's night in Brixton. Ouch.\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Guinness hat alert!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/brixton-st-patricks-day-8.jpg\" alt=\"St Patrick's night in Brixton.
