{"id":3976,"date":"2011-04-04T10:00:43","date_gmt":"2011-04-04T09:00:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/?p=3976"},"modified":"2011-04-04T02:02:10","modified_gmt":"2011-04-04T01:02:10","slug":"museum-of-london-london-street-photography","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/museum-of-london-london-street-photography\/","title":{"rendered":"Museum of London: London Street Photography"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/museum-of-london-photos.jpg\" alt=\"Museum of London: London Street Photography\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Well worth a visit is the Museum of London&#8217;s &#8216;London street photography&#8217; exhibition, showing over 200 candid street scenes from 1860 to the\u00a0present day.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/museum-of-london-photos-1.jpg\" alt=\"Museum of London: London Street Photography\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The exhibition is free and runs until 4 September 2011, but be warned: it can get very busy indeed, so if you&#8217;re thinking of visiting during a weekend or school holiday, make sure you give yourself enough time.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/museum-of-london-03.jpg\" alt=\"A trip to the Museum of London\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If you find it&#8217;s too busy for your tastes, the good news is that there&#8217;s loads of other great stuff to see in the museum, which enjoyed a  \u00a320 million redevelopment in 2010 (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/a-trip-to-the-museum-of-london\/\" target=\"_blank\">see our feature here<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cafes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s also two decent cafes in the museum too, although the food is a little pricey and they insist on serving coffee in paper cups.
