{"id":3982,"date":"2011-04-04T13:38:28","date_gmt":"2011-04-04T12:38:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/?p=3982"},"modified":"2011-04-04T16:25:01","modified_gmt":"2011-04-04T15:25:01","slug":"the-heron-rises-in-the-city-36-storeys-for-the-well-heeled-in-ec2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/the-heron-rises-in-the-city-36-storeys-for-the-well-heeled-in-ec2\/","title":{"rendered":"The Heron rises in the City, 36-storeys for the well heeled in EC2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/the-heron-city-of-london-01.jpg\" alt=\"The Heron rises in the City, 36-storeys for the well heeled\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Not physically related to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/heron-tower-skyscraper-110-bishopsgate-london\/\">Heron Tower at 100 Bishopgate<\/a> although built by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.heroninternational.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">same people<\/a>, this posh residential development is apparently set to &#8220;redefine standards of luxury living in the City&#8221; and be &#8220;the ultimate residential experience.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In other words: no oiks allowed.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/the-heron-city-of-london-04.jpg\" alt=\"The Heron rises in the City, 36-storeys for the well heeled\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Developers <a href=\"http:\/\/www.heroninternational.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Heron Residences LLP<\/a> say that over sixty per cent of the 284 apartments\u00a0in the block have been sold, with the website frothing about the building&#8217;s quality:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The slender 36 floor residential tower will be a striking addition to the City skyline; a fusion of contemporary architecture and sophisticated design exhibiting graceful lines and a seamless exterior finish.
