{"id":484,"date":"2007-01-14T18:11:00","date_gmt":"2007-01-14T18:11:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/u75blog\/?p=484"},"modified":"2007-01-14T18:11:00","modified_gmt":"2007-01-14T18:11:00","slug":"photo-blog-updates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/photo-blog-updates\/","title":{"rendered":"Photo Blog updates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">An afternoon at the British Library<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/london\/images\/british-library-01.jpg\" alt=\"British Library\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s a great exhibition at the British Library at the moment &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bl.uk\/onlinegallery\/features\/londoninmaps\/homepage.html\" target=\"_blank\">London: A Life In Maps<\/a>, featuring lots of amazing old maps.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/london\/images\/british-library-05.jpg\" alt=\"British Library\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s some huge copper-plate panoramas of London, revealing incredibly intricate sketching, as well as wall-filling street maps. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/london\/british-library.html\">British Library photos<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Lost at the Barbican<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/london\/images\/barbican-04.jpg\" alt=\"Barbican at night\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In the evening, we went to a friend&#8217;s party at the Barbican, which was as baffling to navigate as ever, with the names on street signs appearing only to disappear again.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/london\/images\/barbican-06.jpg\" alt=\"Barbican at night\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>My friend&#8217;s flat was lovely, but the Barbican really is spectacularly ugly.<\/p>\n<p>Heck it makes <a href=\"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/brixton\/features\/barrier.html\">our block<\/a> look positively charming!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/london\/barbican-london.html\">Barbican photos<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An afternoon at the British Library There&#8217;s a great exhibition at the British Library at the moment &#8211; London: A Life In Maps, featuring lots of amazing old maps.
