a wobbly load of fun in west London"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/kew-gardens-treetop-walkway-01.jpg\" alt=\"Kew Gardens Treetop walkway - wobbly, but fun\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Designed by the same folks who created the London Eye, the treetop walkway in Kew Gardens provides a fabulous birds eye view of the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew, west London.<\/p>\n<p>Rhizotron and Xstrata Treetop Walkway &#8211; to give the structure its full name &#8211; was opened to the public in 2008 on International Biodiversity Day to a design by Marks Barfield Architects.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/kew-gardens-treetop-walkway-02.jpg\" alt=\"Kew Gardens Treetop walkway - wobbly, but fun\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Standing aloft on 18-metre high rusted steel columns, the 200-metre walkway forms an elevated circular route past the tops of lime, sweet chestnut and oak trees.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/kew-gardens-treetop-walkway-03.jpg\" alt=\"Kew Gardens Treetop walkway - wobbly, but fun\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/kew-gardens-treetop-walkway-04.jpg\" alt=\"Kew Gardens Treetop walkway - wobbly, but fun\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/kew-gardens-treetop-walkway-05.jpg\" alt=\"Kew Gardens Treetop walkway - wobbly, but fun\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The structure has a definite wobble to it when you find\u00a0yourself\u00a0in a crowded section &#8211;
