although some of the toasted pitta bread was tooth-challengingly hard.<\/p>\n<p>The fair-trade coffee was pretty good too but seeing as I&#8217;ve been spoilt by living so close to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/federation-coffee-brixton-londons-finest-coffee\/\" target=\"_blank\">Federation Coffee in Brixton<\/a>, I realise I&#8217;m in danger of turning into a <em>hoity toity<\/em> coffee snob.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/shot-in-the-dark-cardiff-05.jpg\" alt=\"A Shot In The Dark coffee bar, Cardiff\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Upstairs room.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/shot-in-the-dark-cardiff-04.jpg\" alt=\"A Shot In The Dark coffee bar, Cardiff\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The bar is licensed, so there&#8217;s a wide selection of wines on offer, plus there&#8217;s free wi-fi available.<\/p>\n<p>Offering a relaxing atmosphere in the daytimes with late\u00a0openings\u00a0and live performances in the evenings, this is easily one of the best coffee bars in Cardiff.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Shot In The Dark<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>12 City Road,<br \/>\nRoath,<br \/>\nCardiff, CF24 3BJ<br \/>\nTel: 029 20472300<\/p>\n<p>Open (call to check):<br \/>\nMon-Thu 8am-12am;
