href=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/brixton-remains-closed-after-overnight-riots-and-looting-photos\/\" target=\"_blank\">recent rioting<\/a>, an event called &#8216;We Love Brixton&#8217; took place on Windrush Square in the centre of town on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Organised by residents and shopowners from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/brixton-village-now-open-on-sundays\/\" target=\"_blank\">Brixton Village<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/granville-arcade-brixton-village-1961-londons-largest-emporium\/\" target=\"_blank\">Granville Arcade<\/a>), the event featured speakers, poetry and live music, but centrepiece of the event was the 8ft high wooden letters spelling \u2018WE LOVE BRIXTON.\u2019<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\"
