{"id":544,"date":"2006-07-29T10:29:00","date_gmt":"2006-07-29T10:29:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/u75blog\/?p=544"},"modified":"2010-06-02T02:02:47","modified_gmt":"2010-06-02T01:02:47","slug":"544","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/544\/","title":{"rendered":"Critical Mass and Offline report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Critical Mass and Offline report<\/strong><br \/>\nThursday&#8217;s Offline was great fun.<\/p>\n<p>We had a full house and some great bands: first on The Molotovs were fantastic with a mad-for-it crowd and Salt and Blue delivered another fine set of hurdy-gurdy driven folk.<\/p>\n<p>Mark Mace Smith did a superb job of standing in for Vic and MCing the cabaret, with comic superstar Robert Newman doing a fine turn.<\/p>\n<p>Surprise of the night were the outstanding D&#8217;Archetypes, whose mix of British Asian satire, comedy and hip hop went down a storm.<\/p>\n<p>Later on, a drunken editor vs dubversion mash-up got the drunken mob dancing till 2am. Great night!<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nCritical Mass<\/strong><br \/>\nLast night we joined another busy ride across London, which meandered from Waterloo to Westminster to Traf Sq through the back streets of Soho before heading north to Euston.<\/p>\n<p>With 17 miles on the clock, many beers were called for in the Albert later.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Critical Mass and Offline report Thursday&#8217;s Offline was great fun.
