in my hometown of Cardiff for part of Christmas and grabbed these photos from\u00a0 my wanders around town.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" chapel had remained hidden inside the House of Fraser\/Howells department store until redevelopment work started on the Grade II-listed building in 2023.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Legendary Scotland manager Jock Stein <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pressandjournal.co.uk\/fp\/past-times\/2458876\/big-jock\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">suffered a fatal heart attack<\/a> at Ninian Park in 1985 mas his team secured a draw against Wales to earn a World Cup place.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" December 2025\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In late 2023, the <span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\"> Churchill Way dock feeder<\/span> canal that had remained hidden for over 70 years was uncovered, ready to be fixed! Here&#8217;s what I wrote about the Cardiff Market clock <a href=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/bongs-buttons-and-bull-strength-at-cardiffs-central-market-in-photos\/\">back in December 2015<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Despite being\u00a0restored in 2011 at\u00a0a cost of \u00a325,000, the\u00a0H.
