taking on the Summit at the Alexandra Palace\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Although we still had some way to go, the views at this level were already spectacular.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/pics\/summit-ally-pally-02.jpg\" alt=\"A walk across the rooftops - taking on the Summit at the Alexandra Palace\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/pics\/summit-ally-pally-07.jpg\" alt=\"A walk across the rooftops - taking on the Summit at the Alexandra Palace\" \/><\/p>\n<p>At the top of the climb there&#8217;s a viewing platform, where your guide will unleash a flotilla of fascinating facts about the history of Alexandra Palace and the surrounding area.<\/p>\n<p>The talk went on for some time, and although we were happy to learn about the building&#8217;s history, we can&#8217;t imagine it would be much fun if it happened during a rainstorm.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/pics\/summit-ally-pally-08.jpg\" alt=\"A walk across the rooftops - taking on the Summit at the Alexandra Palace\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It was great to see some of the Ally Pally structures from a different angle.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/pics\/summit-ally-pally-09.jpg\" alt=\"A walk across the rooftops - taking on the Summit at the Alexandra Palace\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You can just make out the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/in-photos-a-trip-to-the-top-of-londons-bt-tower-in-march-2004\/\">Telecom Tower<\/a> in this view.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/pics\/summit-ally-pally-10.jpg\" alt=\"A walk across the rooftops - taking on the Summit at the Alexandra Palace\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When you get back down to ground level there&#8217;s a large bar and cafe area where you can warm up with a cuppa.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/pics\/summit-ally-pally-15.jpg\" alt=\"A walk across the rooftops -
