{"id":598,"date":"2006-02-23T00:57:00","date_gmt":"2006-02-23T00:57:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/u75blog\/?p=598"},"modified":"2006-02-23T00:57:00","modified_gmt":"2006-02-23T00:57:00","slug":"598","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/598\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>A walk through Bermondsey and Rotherhithe<\/b><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/london\/images\/rotherhithe-09.jpg\" title=\"A walk to Rotherhithe, east London\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We went for a lovely walk from central London to Rotherhithe on the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The amount of &#8216;exec&#8217; developments is a bit depressing, but there&#8217;s still parts that look like something out of the 1970s.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/london\/images\/rotherhithe-14.jpg\" title=\"\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s only matter of time before the place becomes one large row of &#8216;lifestyle statements&#8217;, so I recommend you get down there before it goes forever!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/london\/images\/rotherhithe-16.jpg\" title=\"Brunel Engine House Museum, Rotherhithe\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We also checked out the Brunel Engine House Museum in Rotherhithe, a small, out of the way affair that&#8217;s worth a visit (but if you&#8217;re the kind of person that demands lots of interactive knobs and  levers that go, &#8220;Wheeeeee!&#8221;, perhaps it&#8217;s not for you.)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/london\/rotherhithe.html\" target=\"_blank\"> Bermondsey and Rotherhithe walk<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A walk through Bermondsey and Rotherhithe We went for a lovely walk from central London to Rotherhithe on the weekend.
