{"id":769,"date":"2004-07-11T23:11:00","date_gmt":"2004-07-11T23:11:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/u75blog\/?p=769"},"modified":"2010-07-26T23:30:51","modified_gmt":"2010-07-26T22:30:51","slug":"769","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/769\/","title":{"rendered":"Lewisham People\u2019s Day&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Recovering&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Saturday turned out to be a hectic one.<\/p>\n<p>Once I&#8217;d stopped having a hissy fit about the non-appearance of my new camera (see below), I headed out to the SE London wastelands of Hither Green to meet up with a load of urban75 chums attending the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/london\/lewisham.html\" target=\"_blank\">Lewisham People&#8217;s Day (click for my photo report)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/images\/catford.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Lost person's tent at Lewisham People's Day\" width=\"350\" height=\"215\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The festival felt like an old school community festival from the 80s which got me reminiscing about the old Hackney Homeless and Deptford Free festivals &#8211; both much missed.<\/p>\n<p>The word is that next year&#8217;s People&#8217;s Day is going to be a more corporate affair.
