Spawned from trendy, tight-trousered Spitalfields, where their\u00a0original\u00a0coffee bar\u00a0became\u00a0the stuff of\u00a0legend, Antipodean\u00a0baristas Nude\u00a0Espresso\u00a0shimmied west in the summer of last year to set up a cafe in the heart of town.<\/p>\n

Located in Soho Square, the cafe presents rather a sleek spectacle,\u00a0resplendent\u00a0in shiny surfaces, black finishes and a swishy mezzanine level.<\/p>\n

The premises looked very modern, clean and tidy but, truth be told, I think I prefer a little less gloss and a bit more character\u00a0accompanying\u00a0my coffee drinking.<\/p>\n

Mind you, had the weather been better, it would have been rather pleasant to sit outside and watch Soho Square scurry by.<\/p>\n

There was no complaints about the coffee though, which was strong and full flavoured, and the cakes looked hugely tempting too (I resisted. This time).<\/p>\n

Nude also\u00a0serve a wide range of homemade treats, fresh paninis,\u00a0filled sandwiches and salads, all of which looked rather tasty.<\/p>\n

Prices were a smidgen higher than I’m used to, but\u00a0worth\u00a0paying the extra for if you’re into your coffee (and I certainly am).<\/p>\n

There’s no doubting the commitment of the Nude crew to coffee, with the\u00a0company\u00a0roasting their own beans and also selectively sourcing coffees for the best flavour.<\/p>\n

If you’re around Soho Square and desperate for a top-notch caffeine kick, this is the place to visit!<\/p>\n
