I loved the look of the pub in the preview I posted on\u00a0Wednesday<\/a>, and last night I went along to the full opening of the Crown & Anchor, a fab new real ale bar in Brixton.<\/p>\n

I arrived late but the place was still really busy, and the ale flowed mightily.<\/p>\n

I don’t exactly remember all the brews I ended up drinking, although I do recall that the south London-brewed Kernel was a delight.<\/p>\n

Here’s some photos from the evening. I’ll certainly be back for more!<\/p>\n

I think I tried rather a lot of these. Too many, some may say \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

The bar has a really excellent selection of beers and it’s\u00a0definitely\u00a0worth a trip out just to see what’s new.<\/p>\n

The only real minus point that some complained\u00a0about\u00a0was the noise: with its bare walls, wooden\u00a0floor\u00a0and big windows, people can make a right old racket.<\/p>\n

It didn’t bother me (aren’t pubs supposed<\/em> to be loud places?) but I certainly heard one or two grumbles.<\/p>\n
