I spotted these bizarre 11 foot high statues of the Queen and Prince Philip parked outside Marco Polo House, the London headquarters of the QVC television shopping channel in Battersea.<\/p>\n

Commissioned by QVC and created to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee anniversary, each terracotta giant head weighs more than half a tonne and took a team of sculptors more than two months to make.<\/p>\n

The Queen’s bonce contains around 50 different varieties of flowers including geraniums, hydrangeas and freesias, while the Prince has to do with a bit of grass in a Bobby\u00a0Charlton\u00a0style.<\/p>\n

The pots were apparently carted around<\/a>\u00a0Buckingham Palace and other iconic London landmarks in March 2012, and are due to be\u00a0presented to the royal couple in June.<\/p>\n

And I bet they’ll be really<\/em> pleased with them too*.<\/p>\n
