{"id":892,"date":"2004-01-05T21:43:00","date_gmt":"2004-01-05T21:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/u75blog\/?p=892"},"modified":"2014-10-28T20:49:01","modified_gmt":"2014-10-28T20:49:01","slug":"892","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/892\/","title":{"rendered":"Todays bonkers site &#8211; the rouge planet (yes, really)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fans of cheap digital cameras, low res webcams, poor quality lenses with terrible lens flare will be delighted to see a huge collection of examples on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zetatalk.com.\/teams\/tteam342.htm\" target=\"_blank\">this site<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The only trouble is that the authors are insistent that what you&#8217;re actually seeing is not lens flare &#8211; it&#8217;s hidden planets, winged globes and second suns!<\/p>\n<p>Absolutely bonkers!<\/p>\n<p>You can find a sane explanation for the equally loopylou &#8216;comet plunging towards earth&#8217; story found on the same barmy site <a href=\"http:\/\/www.space.com\/scienceastronomy\/comet_conspiracy_030228.html\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On a more serious note, the <a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/1\/hi\/sci\/tech\/3370441.stm\" target=\"_blank\">NASA Mars probe<\/a> successfully landed on Mars last night and is already sending back awesome panoramic images.<\/p>\n<p>Now, if only the Beagle Mars lander would finally wake up!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fans of cheap digital cameras, low res webcams, poor quality lenses with terrible lens flare will be delighted to see a huge collection of examples on this site.
