Although vast chunks of Brixton have changed dramatically<\/a> over the years, \u00a0the\u00a0stretch\u00a0of Coldharbour Lane close to the junction with Brixton Road seems pretty unchanged.<\/p>\n

In this 1958 view above, a lone car rumbles along towards the centre of Brixton<\/a>, with the street lined with small shops including what looks like a Dolls Hospital.<\/p>\n

To the right, you can see a shop where the 414 Club now operates, and there’s a large awning outside what is now the House Of Bottles (with the Prince Albert pub<\/a> wedged in between).<\/p>\n
