{"id":947,"date":"2003-07-14T10:18:00","date_gmt":"2003-07-14T10:18:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/u75blog\/?p=947"},"modified":"2010-06-03T20:53:12","modified_gmt":"2010-06-03T19:53:12","slug":"947","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.urban75.org\/blog\/947\/","title":{"rendered":"Brixton Rocks!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Brixton Rocks!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s all happening in Brixton at the moment as the<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.destination-brixton.com\" target=\"_blank\">Destination Brixton Expo<\/a> is in town for the week.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday we checked out some local art in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.urban75.org\/brixton\/features\/destination.html\" target=\"_blank\">Lambeth Town Hall<\/a> before moving on the the refurbished Ritzy Bar (where I proceeded to thrash Em and Tim at table football).<\/p>\n<p>Next stop was the trusty Albert for a few beers.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday we checked out the African drummers in Windrush Gardens and in the evening went up to the Brixton Windmill for a superb Acid Country night with a fabulous authentic C&amp;W; band&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Now, back to the writing&#8230;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Brixton Rocks!
