I like this near-monochrome\u00a0image of a rain-lashed, winter’s late afternoon by Second Avenue subway station in New York City.<\/p>\n

There’s so little\u00a0colour\u00a0in this second image that it looks like it’s a black and white image where I’ve applied a ‘selective\u00a0colour’\u00a0effect to the green\u00a0globe lamp.<\/p>\n

I should point out that no filters were used at all – and I’ll never\u00a0indulge\u00a0in that \u00a0kind of cheesy Photoshoppery!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
