Is this Brixton’s least enticing cafe poster? The Hand Wash Cafe, Brixton Road SW9

Located outside the JAMM venue on Brixton Road is the Hand Car Wash & Cafe, as advertised by two well seasoned plastic banners.

I’m not entirely sure why you’d want to put these two enterprises together (“I’m just popping out for a hand car wash and a meal), but the clip art banner illustrates a hot beverage, a double cheeseburger and a two-tone ice cream.

I can’t say there’s quite enough there to entice me in, but has anyone ever visited the cafe?

What was the food like? And where do you sit?
