Sadly no longer open and currently covered in
horrible graffiti a ‘public art experiment’, the Angel pub on Coldharbour Lane has a long history stretching back into Victorian times.
Around the turn of the 20th century, the publicans of the Angel were also a music hall act known as the Royal Zanettos whose skills included a ‘Japanese Juggling’ act and a navy-themed routine.
A recent photo of the the Angel. Nice, eh?
