Whoops! Bus driver hits shop in Coldharbour Lane
Incident on Coldharbour Lane, 19th May 2007. Photos © urban75 editor

There was much excitement (and piss taking) going on at the corner of Gresham Rd and Coldharbour Lane on Saturday morning when a bus driver completely miscalculated the turning.

The bus had hit the scaffolding head on and pushed it back. Happily, there were no injuries

After several hours stuck in the building, the bus was reversed out from its embarrassing position.

The blokes from the scaffolding company were then brought in to secure the building. This involved the highly scientific procedure of whacking the scaffolding back into the desired positions with bits of scaffold!

Incidentally, a few years back there was another incident nearby when the driver of a 35 took the turning before Gresham Road and proceeded to remove the top half of his bus on the low bridge by the Medusa club!
