Even the most relentlessly optimistic Cardiff supporters knew that taking on the Premierships leaders away from home would be a tough task, and in the end their superiority won through.
The scoreline flatters Chelsea though: for the first hour, Cardiff gave a very good account of themselves, with the team doing their supporters proud.
