Gothic arches and clock, Booking office

The combined cost of the Midland Grand hotel and the St Pancras station was around a million pounds, which would have been a huge sum of money in the 1860/70s.

Four of the pillars on this wall feature small sculptures of railwaymen in contemporary dress, with one holding a model train.
