Remembering Joe Strummer, 10th Anniversary Memorial at the 100 Club, London

To commemorate the ten years since punk icon Joe Strummer died, a Strummerville charity event was put on at the famous 100 Club in the heart of London.

The event ran over two nights, and I came down on the Sunday in time to see Spizz Energi ripping up the stage.

Spizz’s band features the Mrs Mills Experience guitarist!

“Where’s Captain Kirk…”

It was great to see The Advert’s TV Smith putting in a lively set. He’s a lovely bloke .

Headlining the show was Glen Matlock and The Philistines. The place went wild when the former Sex Pistols played ‘God Save The Queen!
