Duke Of Wellington, Acre Lane, SW2 [Dec 2005]
Dating from 1907, the Duke of Wellington is an attractive Edwardian public house which closed in July 2003.
Local press reports at the time said the pub (along with the The Harriers in Herne Hill Road) was closed by the police "amid fears that the licensees were being intimidated by gun-toting gangs."
